Problem Statement
Shopify rugged its web3 integrations! Annonce with great fanfare last year, nothing is maintained and usable today. Time to build for real web3 integrations into e-commerce without begging for API endpoints in closed source infra. Sybil resistance for exclusive offers, crypto payment, on-chain identity, frames, there's a long list of use cases very difficult to achieve with current tooling today
Solution
This project use Medusa JS as an open source web2 e-commerce infra, on which Ethereum protocols are integrated for crypto natives. Deployed with railapp for the back and Netlify for the front, it has a fully functional admin, backend and front end. Crypto wallet connection, connection to ETh protocol, Sybil resistance with Worldcoin, and a shop in production.
