Problem Statement

This project aims to integrate a react.js application with Livepeer. The goal is to mint a video/livestream as an NFT. The goal is for someone who is streaming to be able to mint the entirety or parts of their stream. In short, this is a Video NFT project. We are using NextJs and Truffle for the bulk of the work.

Solution

This project uses NextJs and a local blockchain with Ganache. It was made by building a screen that shows a livestream and a button that mints it. We used livepeer by sending a stream with RMTP via OBS to our Livepeer ingestion stream. The sponsors were able to offer a Recording Url which is what we were aiming to 'mint'.
