Animetlik

Web3 platform for manga/manhwa & fanfic creators: fair subscriptions, instant on-chain payouts.

Problem Statement

Animetlik is a Web3 publishing platform for manga, manhwa, and fanfic that turns reader subscriptions into transparent, automatic on-chain revenue splits (50% author / 35% platform / 15% staking). Originally built for Monad’s high-throughput EVM, for this hackathon we added ENS integration so every creator can claim a free subdomain (their channel) to publish series and videos and share a verifiable identity. Wallet connect is seamless, receipts are public, payouts are instant, and the system scales as our catalog grows.

Solution

We built Animetlik as a Web3 subscription platform with on-chain revenue splits (50/35/15). Core is a SoliditySubscriptionManagerthat routes each payment and emits auditable events. The app was first integrated forMonad(parallel EVM, fast finality); for this hackathon weextended the smart contract to integrate ENSso authors canclaim a free subdomain(e.g.,creator.animetlik.eth) that becomes their public channel for publishing. Front end:Next.js/React + TypeScript, wallet connection viaReown (ex-WalletConnect), on-chain I/O withviem/ethers, and a lightweight indexer (Node) to stream contract events to creator dashboards. Media/catalog metadata is stored onIPFSwith content hashes referenced on-chain. Hacky bits worth noting: gas-optimized split usingminimal proxiesfor creator payout vaults, ENS subdomain mint with collision checks, and a local faucet/simulator to pressure-test bursts of subscription events. Post-hackathon we’ll continue on Monad and offer ENS subdomains to all authors.
