Auktrafi

We are enabling stablecoins to access transparent auctions for tokenized real state rentals

Problem Statement

Auktrafi is a decentralized booking platform that turns every property and every night into an on-chain market. Owners tokenize their properties, guests book nights and enables auctions for real demand-driven pricing.Owners deploy a property “vault” using an ultra-gas-efficient EIP-1167 clone pattern. Each night becomes a minimal on-chain sub-vault that manages the full lifecycle: FREE → AUCTION → SETTLED. Guests can book at the base price or bid higher. When check-in happens, settlement executes instantly on-chain and the access code is released to the valid booker.Payments are fully transparent and automatic: 95/5 base split (owner/platform), plus a premium auction incentive that rewards early bookers, previous holders, owners, and the platform—aligning everyone around utilization.Auktrafi removes intermediaries, eliminates payout delays, and introduces dynamic, fair pricing for short-stay bookings—with on-chain verification, PYUSD settlement, and full owner control.

Solution

We built Hardhat v3 as the development framework. Hardhat was essential for fast iteration, debugging, test forking, and running a full suite of unit tests that cover auctions, settlement flows, and payment distribution logic. We also automated ABI + deployment exports to keep the frontend always synced with the latest contracts. The architecture uses the EIP-1167 clone pattern to deploy ultra-lightweight Property Vaults and Night Sub-Vaults, reducing gas costs by ~99%—critical for a model where every booked night becomes its own on-chain instance. Instead of one giant booking ledger, every night runs its own isolated logic—simplifying auditing, enabling composability, and making it easy to plug into future loyalty or reputation layers.A key choice was integrating PayPal USD (PYUSD) as the settlement token. Settlement is automatic on check-in, making the booking experience feel like Web2 but with Web3 guarantees.
