Problem Statement

BidBuddy provides a seamless and transparent experience for bidding on crypto event tickets. The platform allows users to connect their ETH wallets and participate in the bidding process for events like Devconnect 2023.With BidBuddy, users can easily access and bid for tickets through their connected ETH wallets. The entire bidding process, including the submission of bids and the associated messages, is securely stored on the blockchain, ensuring transparency, immutability, and trust.

Solution

Frontend: a React app built using JS and HTML/CSS. Ethers for interacting with Ethereum smart contracts.Backend: single smart contract written in Solidity. Hardhat for console.log statements and deploying on Goerli test network. QuickNode API key for broadcasting smart contract transactions.
