Problem Statement

C3, or "Communities Creating Change," simplifies the process of starting petitions by allowing individuals to use their wallet addresses and verify their humanity through Worldcoin, ensuring utmost authenticity. The platform seamlessly connects with social media platforms like lens.protocol, making it easier to share petitions and gain broader support. What distinguishes C3 is its strong commitment to verifying the identity of every signer, bolstering the credibility and influence of petitions while safeguarding user privacy. C3 represents a vision for a more robust and democratic approach to driving positive change within our communities.With C3, users have the ability to craft petitions that resonate with their social concerns and gather votes. This platform facilitates the accumulation of collective influence, demonstrating a shared consensus and a strong stance on these issues.

Solution

We built our project mostly around Worldcoin’s concept of Proof of Personhood to ensure every single interaction is made by a genuine person. We used React to build the frontend and Solidity for the smart contract (obviously). Our website is statically hosted without any centralized server logic. The blockchain and IPFS is our entire backend and data storage provider.
