Problem Statement

ChainLook is a decentralized blockchain analytics tool based on TheGraph and IPFS.You can create beautiful widgets and dashboards for Tokens, NFTs, dApps based on data from subgraphs. The configuration JSONs for widgets and dashboards are stored in IPFSAdditionally, widgets can be build based on data from IPFS (json), Tableland, OrbitDB (in progress). In a way ChainLook is a general purpose visualization tool for decentralized data.

Solution

ChainLook dashboards are composed of widgetsUsers can build widgets of type Chart (line, bar, area), PieChart, Table, Metric, TextWidget data can be sourced from subgraphs. ChainLook automatically create GQL queries based on the widget definitions.Widgets can be also build around data from IPFS (json) and TableLand.Schema/Configurations for both widgets and dashboards are stored in IPFSIPFS CID are used as IDs for widgets and dashboards and are part of the URLsUsers can publish Widgets and Dashboards created from the UI to IPFS (using web3.storage)
