Problem Statement

The concept of Co-insure is designed to address the uncertainties faced by participants in digital nomad communities, crypto conference communities and pop-up city movement during their travels, encompassing concerns related to safety, health, and unforeseen events.Traditional insurance processes are often slow and mired in ambiguous terminology, leading to frustration.Understanding the challenges people encounter when dealing with unexpected events, the idea behind Co-insure is to create a platform where individuals can mutually insure each other based on trust within a group and customized governance structures.

Solution

This project uses the Celo Minipay Opera Brower based wallet behind the scene to connect to Gnosis Safe and Snapshot APIs. We used Figma to design the front end and the back end is still being built in Node.js. This project is still under development because my colleague is ill.
