Eat Out Coin

Problem Statement

A web app that reward customers with tokens when they make a purchase from a restaurant. Customers can redeem these tokens (Eat Out Coin) for discount or prizes. Restaurants can promote their menu by creating a profile and menu or deals on this app for customers to see. It will have a universal rewards program where the rewards are not just exclusive to just one restaurant.

Solution

This project was built using React for the front end and Node.js with Express for the back end. I used solidity and ERC-20 Token to create the cryptocurrency for the reward system. I used fleek storage to store images on IPFS. I host the front end on Fleek Hosting. I started this project from researching and designing to development.
