Problem Statement
ENS Limited is a revolutionary Dapp that leverages the power of ENS Domains and Subdomains to create a seamless and personalized wallet address experience. Our platform enables users to generate time-bounded subdomains for their wallets, making it incredibly easy to share addresses in specific contexts such as social events, conferences, or temporary transactions. For instance, instead of sharing a cumbersome and generic wallet address, users can share a personalized address like "awesomeconference2024.eth," which is valid only for the duration of the event. This not only enhances memorability but also ensures security and convenience. Additionally, our solution allows for the incorporation of on-chain programmability, enabling features such as NFT drops and event-specific perks (e.g., a 50% swag discount for subdomain holders). This transforms how wallet addresses are used and interacted with, making them more than just a string of characters but a tool for engagement and functionality.
Solution
We used a fork of the Dynamic Scaffold Eth 2 NextJS project to support simple logins with social. We wanted users (event owners) to be able to create subnames (as tickets) from their wallet after they log in using the ens.js library if they had an existing ENS domain. Buyers of tickets can see which subdomains exist of an ENS domain, and buy it. We used Blockscoiut links for users to see the subdomains and wrapped token ID of a subdomain.
