Problem Statement

AgentPay is a cross-border payment platform that combines blockchain technology with natural language AI. Built on the Hedera network, AgentPay and using PayPal stablecoins, it allows users to send international payments as easily as sending a text message. It uses AI chatbot to help you send payments easily

Solution

AgentPay is a full-stack TypeScript application combining Web3 and Al technologies. The backend uses Node.js with Express and Hedera's JavaScript SDK, while a custom Al agent, powered by Google's Gemini API, interprets natural language commands to execute token transfers via Hedera Token Service. The Next.js 14 frontend features a real-time chat interface with a regex-based fallback to ensure reliability. Key integrations include Hedera testnet and PayPal USD stablecoin. AgentPay abstracts blockchain complexity, letting users send tokens easily. Automatic token association checks and mock KYC enhance security, bridging traditional fintech usability with Web3 innovation.
