Problem Statement

A smart contract is the most un-biased yet trustworthy accountability partner. Kiritsu allows you to make good habits and break bad ones by allowing you to stake your money in a smart contract. It tracks your activities using various api's available and won't hesitate to take it away from you if found guilty.

Solution

Working with chainlink was not as easy as I thought, it provides no error if it fails which led me to do a lot of guesswork to solve the bugs. This was almost my first time using next.js and it took me a while to learn how to use it, in hindsight I should have probably gone for something like Vue js. The biggest challenge I ran into was the deadline, building a smart contract, front end and a fully functioning backend in 36 hours all alone proved to be a tough task. Ultimately I failed, but choosing this path allowed me to learn the most.
