Problem Statement

Our team came from different parts of the world to be here today and a lot of us are in the same situation. We like to think practical and wanted to develop a product we would probably be the first users to onboard. A project that would make our lives easier!We decided to create a holiday/trip events such that friends or team members (e.g., could be used for work events or even hackathons!) offer proposals. Once a consensus has been found & specific conditions are met, hostels owners (or other types of accommodation) can decide to book a reservation to the team/group. One might even envision a reputation like system, ensuring the hosts that their customers are respectful of the rules. We also add a gamification and badge system on your profile page!

Solution

Considering we are building a multichain & functionality extensive Dapp, we have decided to focus on the following set of technologies:We use the nextjs web framework, react, typescript & tailwindcss for the styling.We added onramp support using the Unlimit Onramp API.Connection to a wallet goes through Wallet Connect.The smart contracts were written in solidity and deployed on base, scroll, linea, mantle, celo.The Dapp was deployed on Vercel.We initialized the process of pushing notifications by allowing connected wallet to subscribe to our Dapp.We later want to later implement Axelar to bridge funds to the supported networks.
