PearTree

We are making APIs peer to peer instead of controlled by one entity.

Problem Statement

This project leverages an assortment of emerging web3 and crypto technology to create a new and more robust and scalable mechanism for the creation, distribution and delivery of APIs. By using p2p system architectures and existing p2p networks such as IPFS we can bootstrap a mesh of ephemeral blockchains acting as a distributed network of data indexers.

Solution

HackFS sponsors/technologies used:Fluence (server-side processing of p2p api results) - we didn't get to the point of using them. However, the plan was to use their server-side marine framework for consolidating and verifying the inputs of the p2p network of API validators.Filecoin/IPFS (libp2p)- (libp2p) Heavy use of libp2p and eventual persistence on IPFS with longterm persistence via filecoinCeramic (mini blockchain)- didn't get to use it yet.Proof but not coding in repo yet.
