Problem Statement

Rightoken allows artists to convert the rights to their sound recording to tokens. Fans can invest in these tokens so they can share the benefit of their favorite artists' success, while artists can live comfortably, grow their audience, and stay independent. Rightoken is built as a public good by two DAOs, Crescendao and Lefdao, consisting of Rightoken artists and developers, respectively.

Solution

Rightoken is a Next.js project. It uses ethers.js to interact with Optimism. Users can connect their wallet using either WalletConnect or injected MetaMask. Artists can list their tokens on Uniswap using a v3 single-sided LP. Fans can use the Swap Widget to convert their ETH to a stablecoin, which itself can be turned to the artist's rightokens.
