Problem Statement

Problem: Over $2.3 billion was lost to crypto hacks and frauds in 2024, with phishing scams alone accounting for approximately $450 million. This widespread fraud has made many users hesitant to transact on-chain, reinforcing the perception that crypto is a scam-ridden industry.However, knowledgeable and informed users not only safeguard their own assets but also contribute to the growth of blockchain innovation by preventing bad actors from damaging the industry’s reputation.Solution: ScamBuzzer is a scam defense platform powered by an AI agent, built to detect, alert, and protect users from falling victim to scams.

Solution

ScamBuzzer is a platform designed to protect crypto users from phishing scams, malicious contracts, and impersonation attacks, leveraging a combination of blockchain technology and AI The frontend is built using Next.js. We used Privy for secure, user-friendly authentication. On the blockchain side, we developed and deployed an ERC-721 NFT smart contract on the Base and Arbitrum network. For ai agent we have used covalent ai agent sdk to build risk assessment tool.
