Problem Statement

SOBR is a Web3 Sobriety Maintenance Platform for managing and incentivising sobriety.In 2019, 19.3 million adults had Substance Use Disorder. They comprise 7.7 percent of the U.S population. Drug use is highest among people aged 18 to 25, at 39 percent.Since a high number of people overlap into the age group that most uses technology, and especially their mobile devices for lifestyle improvement, sobriety applications are a useful tool.Current sobriety applications, while useful, could add more incentivization to encourage user engagement, benefitting both the user and their sobriety path.

Solution

We started with a template - first used scaffold-eth https://github.com/scaffold-eth/scaffold-eth then swtiched to https://github.com/lakshh07/Web3-Starter-Kit as it was lighter weight.Spent much of our time learning tooling like hardhat and rainbowkit and groking superfluid.We created a SOBR ERC-20 token and an equivalent superfluid SOBRx "super token"We created a superfluid "Constant Flow Agreement" streaming tokens to users maintaining their sobrietyWe used Polygon base chainWe used Unstoppable Domains for user data and avatarsWe used Worldcoin for Proof of HumanityWe used Tableland data storage (user settings)We used Transak to Buy Crypto
