Problem Statement

Spect empowers people to quit their 9 to 5 and comfortably sustain themselves by freelancing in Web 3.0. It is a decentralized and trustless way for making freelancing deals between a client and a freelancer which are stored on chain and removes ambiguity about the deliverable, deadlines and payment. Clients can use the Spect platform to create bounties, find talent, set deadlines and bounty rewards. Freelancers can use the platform to find bounties by filtering using skill set and make a sustainable income by working on these bounties.

Solution

Spect uses Moralis database and cloud functions for storing and querying app metadata. Speedy nodes are used for talking to Polygon Mumbai testnet where the Spect deal and user reputation contracts are deployed. IPFS is used for storing the bounty submission and the ipfs hash is stored on chain to create a verifiable solution. The Spect frontend is hosted on Fleek.
