Problem Statement

There exists situations where you need to split bills it can be paying for Hotel bills, Car rides or Contributing towards celebrating your friends birthday. Decentrailsing and Simplfying it would bring a new set of consumers to web3 and would increase the userbase for not just Splittle but for everyone else in this field.Decentralized splitwise is simple and solves many problems:- Splittle is decentralized, not any single point of failure. No single party controlling all the data. All the transactions are stored on chain, hence immutable, transparent, secure. Now all the users are authentic, because users are represented as wallets. Now, no one can settle money without paying it. In every expense added, now both parties consents are taken.

Solution

Main challenge we faced was in integration. To connect frontend, backend, smart contracts, ipfs, push notifications was a very difficult task. We were also facing problem in connecting push protocol to our smart contract, there were solidity version issues, and we didn't knew about that. So wasted a lot of time in that.
