Problem Statement

An attestation decentralized application (dApp) is designed for endorsing professional skills, much like the endorsement feature found on LinkedIn. This innovative decentralized application allows users to validate and recognize each other's skills in a trustless and transparent manner. By leveraging the power of blockchain technology, it creates a more reliable and verifiable system for professional endorsements. Users can confidently endorse the skills of their peers, knowing that each endorsement is securely recorded on the blockchain. This not only ensures the authenticity of the endorsements but also makes it easier for professionals to showcase their verified skills to potential employers or collaborators. The dApp provides a decentralized, immutable ledger of endorsements, which is accessible to anyone and resistant to tampering, thereby enhancing trust and credibility within professional networks.

Solution

It uses EAS as a core platform where attestations are registered in public. A user can attest to other users on their skills and have ability to rate those skills as well. We also plan to use gitcoin passport for cybil defense. We have used Optimism chain to develop this project.
