Problem Statement

Built on top of the best L2 scaling technology out there, Optimism, our project Vitalik Onchain revolutionizes the way degens can search for information about Vitalik. Is information even real if it isn't stored on-chain? The short answer is no. That's where Vitalik Onchain comes in, we've hard-coded 69 of Vitalik's tweets alongside 10 random facts about Vitalik onto a smart contract. Want to find information about Vitalik or receive a random fact about him? Easy.

Solution

Vitalik Onchain is built on top of Optimism! This was the first time my teammate and I wrote a smart contract, and Optimism's documentation did wonders for us beginners. Optimism's quick and low latency technology made it super easy for us to test and iterate our smart contract. We also used Radicle to store our code repository, which was fascinating to play around with.
