Problem Statement

Often we come across that there are relatively lesser decentralized video streaming platforms in web3. Hence, our team has created an in-browser decentralized video embedding, sharing, and streaming platform that enables creators and users to share, post, and consume video content based on their personal preferences. The creators can post content on their channels and users can view the video player in the browser. The application has ensured safety since it is built on top of Livepeer, IPFS, and GraphQL.

Solution

We faced issues in using an efficient video infrastructure tool to direct the video uploaded to our application. We tried various platforms but faced problems related to uploading, re-direction, and documentation & integration in smart contracts. Then we came across Livepeer through the ETHIndia booth and workshop and went through its documentation. Through dev support by Livepeer, we were able to integrate Livepeer SDKs into our application and created the required assets.
