Problem Statement

Checkpoint is a mobile Web3 gaming platform that bridges the physical and digital worlds. Players explore their local neighborhoods, visit real businesses, and earn on-chain rewards, all without needing blockchain knowledge. Built on Saga's dedicated chainlet with Thirdweb authentication and Unity Engine, Checkpoint delivers a seamless Web2-like experience with gasless transactions. The platform gamifies local exploration while driving foot traffic to participating businesses, creating a sustainable economy that benefits both players and local communities.

Solution

This project uses a dedicated blockchain network for gasless transactions and high-speed performance, powered by Saga. The smart contracts were developed with Solidity and Foundry. We use ThirdWeb for simplified wallet creation and authentication with familiar Web2 login patterns.Embedded wallets
