Problem Statement

This project is a web3 AR experiment to allow users to mark territory with NFTs in a fun and playful way. The project stores the user's geolocation to track information that can be stored as metadata. User can select from a range of items for dropping into the landscape of which the vector points can be captured.

Solution

This project uses WebXR for augmented reality, WalletConnect V3 Beta for web3 authentication and also utilizes artwork from Nouns DAO. Also used NFTPort instead of own contract for NFT minting. WebXR provided great compatibility with other 3d libraries like ThreeJS. WalletConnect allowed an easy way to connect to web3. Artwork from Nouns added an extra flair.
