Problem Statement

KABOOM!!! is a bomb-ass game where players try to defuse a bomb to win a pot of ether. To play the Bomb Game a player must wager 0.00069 ether. If the bomb explodes during their defusing attempt they lose their ether to the pot. If they survive, by cutting 3/4 wires, they win 69% of the pot. 20% of the pot is kept in the contract for future games and Bomb Game takes an 11% cut!

Solution

KABOOM!! utilizes the Pinata FDK for frame development and contract interaction. This allowed us to simply spin up and develop a farcaster frame. This was all of our first times building a frame and this made it super simple to spin and to start interacting with a smart contract. The Frames.js debugger was used to locally run and test the frame during development. We used Foundry for smart contract development, testing, and deployment.
