Problem Statement

This project is a firefox extension which intercepts requests to eth.limo and replaces response data with data resolved and verified by the client. This project is not seeking to be a permanent solution to browsing .eth sites. It was more of an exploration of the security guarantees ENS+IPFS could provide once better supported by browsers.

Solution

The extension:Intercepts requests to eth.limoResolves the contenthash field of the .eth domain being visited via @ensdomains/ensjs.Replaces data of responses from eth.limo with response data from a trustless ipfs gateway using @helia/verified-fetch.The extension supports using a custom eth rpc for resolving the .eth domains.
