Problem Statement

Problem & opportunity - Cross-border retail payments today are slow, expensive, and opaque (multiple intermediaries, FX spreads, settlement delays). For small merchants and consumers, high fees and multi-day settlement slow commerce. There is strong demand for frictionless cross-border rails between India and the US (consumer remittances, e-commerce, SaaS subscriptions). Crypto+liquidity pools + smart routing can cut cost and time — but needs UX parity with UPI and robust compliance/security.Core idea (high level) - When a payer A in India wants to pay merchant M in the US, our platform: Accepts INR (UPI / bank debit). Uses an AI agent to pick the best crypto rail (ETH, MATIC, stablecoin, or multi-hop) to minimize cost/slippage and maximize speed and compliance. Moves value into a USD-side pool and off-ramps to the merchant in USD (bank transfer / USD custodial payout).

Solution

We built this project with a mix of blockchain infrastructure, traditional web tech, and some experimental AI tooling. At the heart of the system are our AI agents, which we built using the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI Alliance) framework. This gave us a flexible way to spin up specialized agents. These agents don’t just suggest routes, they actually interact with smart contracts directly, triggering swaps or pool rebalancing automatically. That meant we could keep the human UX simple, while the “intelligence” handled all the nitty-gritty routing under the hood.On the blockchain side, we used Solidity smart contracts to simulate our INR–Crypto and USD–Crypto pools. For the hackathon MVP, we didn’t go full production-grade but built some cool ai agents which has some real use cases . We hooked those contracts into the agents using ethers library and some lightweight automation scripts in python..As for partner technologies, leveraging ASI Alliance’s agent ecosystem was a big win, it saved us from having to write every agent logic from scratch, and it gave our project a futuristic angle (autonomous payment routing instead of manual configs). Integrating these tools let us focus more on UX and pools instead of low-level AI infra.
