Problem Statement

Nyaya is a cutting-edge system for filing and verifying FIRs that combines blockchain technology with privacy-preserving features. Users submit anonymous complaints via World ID, ensuring their identities remain protected. These complaints are securely stored on the blockchain, creating an immutable record that cannot be tampered with. Once filed, the case is reviewed by a police officer who verifies its validity. If the complaint is confirmed as valid, the FIR is officially registered by the officer in charge. By leveraging blockchain's transparency and security, Nyaya safeguards against corruption and tampering, providing a reliable and equitable platform for seeking justice.

Solution

The technologies used in this project are Frontend: React, Axios, Backend: Express, ethers.js, Solidity and for user identity verification, we integrated the Worldcoin SDK, leveraging its proof of personhood protocol to ensure authenticity and prevent fraud. Notably, we achieved seamless integration between blockchain and identity verification systems, enhancing both security and user trust.
