Problem Statement
ODX is a fully decentralized exchange where users can place limit and market orders on-chain. It also allows running Cartesi Rollup Nodes to execute orders on-chain, with rewards. With both Front and Back-end fully on-chain, ODX provides a more native decentralized DeFi experience.
Solution
The ODX exchange dApp was built from the idea that many DEXes were not ideal alternatives to CEXes since some of their application components were off-chain, such as orderbooks and matching engines. ODX, thanks to Cartesi Application Specific Rollup, offers to users a further decentralised and secure environment for placing limit orders. For market orders, the 1inch Fusion swap solution is used.
