Problem Statement

Predit is a creator-based prediction platform that transforms external markets into social, reputation-driven prediction threads with verifiable on-chain outcomes. Starting with sports predictions, Predit empowers creators—such as analysts, commentators, and influencers—to make predictions that engage their followers, gamify outcomes, and build reputation.Creators import real markets (initially Polymarket), publish insights and open threaded discussions where their audience can “follow,” “fade,” or stay neutral. Users may optionally stake CHZ into pooled prediction contracts on the Chiliz chain; aggregated positions are executed on Polymarket and verified with Chainlink CRE. All key events — market imports, user decisions (anchored at close), execution hashes, and results — are recorded in a lightweight Prediction Registry and Performance contracts on Chiliz to provide transparent, auditable reputation data.Predit’s scoring model denominates reputation in CHZ-equivalent points and blends accuracy, ROI, and streaks into creator and audience leaderboards. The platform lowers onboarding friction by allowing pooled execution on behalf of non-multichain users, abstracting wallet complexity and enabling participation with simple CHZ deposits. MVP features include market import, creator threads, decision logging, basic CHZ staking and pooled execution, outcome reconciliation, and on-chain leaderboards. Solution

Predit is stitched together as a hybrid social + on-chain prediction engine. The backend pulls live market data from Polymarket, normalizes it, and pipes it into our creator dashboard. We use Chiliz as the execution and reputation layer: a Prediction Registry stores market metadata and hashes of user decisions, while a Performance contract tracks creator and audience stats in CHZ-equivalent scoring.For pooled execution, users stake CHZ into a lightweight vault contract. Two hours before market close, a Hyperlane-enabled relayer aggregates the positions and triggers a cross-chain execution to Polymarket. Chainlink CRE handles timing verification and ensures we’re reading the correct market state before firing the transaction. This combo gives us trust-minimized cross-chain bets without forcing users to bridge manually.The frontend is built in React + Wagmi for wallet flows, with a thread-style UI that feels like a social feed rather than a trading app. The backend runs a fast job scheduler that listens for market changes, closes decision windows, and writes deterministic snapshots to the Chiliz chain.The hackiest but coolest part: compressing thousands of “follow/fade” actions into a single on-chain hash to keep gas tiny while preserving verifiability.
