Problem Statement

LensProtocol + Polygon + XMTP + Web3.storage meet gaming 👾We're big fans if games – web3 or not. Our day job is building Puma Browser – mobile web3 browser. We've seen great excitement for games we highlight when you open new tab.We also don't really have a desktop version or fun things you could do on your laptop yet. So this weekend we decided to fix both things – welcome Puma.gg – a place to share your fav games and game moments with friends and discover what to play.

Solution

We built two things over the weekend:dev.puma.gg which is fork of lenster.xyz, front-end deployed to vercel, uses Polygon Network. Flow: login with Lens Protocol account, and you see all the posts that has "gaming" in them. This is the filtering for now, goal is to have a better way to collect gaming related posts.Storage we replaced Bundlr with Web3.storage from Filecoin, but the problem is that persisting now takes more time.If you enable DMs via XMTP you can also DM your gaming frens securely.Should be using QuickNode for RPC instead of Alchemy in the next few min 😂iOS update in TestFlight that has a very basic first step built in XMTP in the Puma Browser for your currently active wallet.The goal is to eventually merge the two and have top games from puma.gg show up in the new tab of Puma iOS and Android apps and have ability to chat with your friends via XMTP.
