Problem Statement

The idea is to create a mortgage-backed peer-peer lending platform and marketplace for trading these tokenized assets. By tokenizing 50% to 100% of the equity in mortgages, mortgage holders can refinance or raise funds on their assets. Additionally, investors with capital can be lenders or traders providing the liquidity needed for a great and active marketplace.

Solution

Had to build this project solo. The single team member quit with about a week to go without contributing anything. However, the following technologies were used: React, Ethereum, Skale, Filecoin & IPFS, NFTPort, Polygon, Remx, Hardhat. Other sponsors could have been used if time had not been wasted. A 3 week project became a 1 week project.
