Problem Statement

Splash is a platform that allows users to invest by watching their favourite content. Behind the hood, viewer get streamed an interest-bearing token (erc20) for every second they watch.This creates a compelling financial incentive for viewers putting in time and attention.Users can also sponsor other users' videos to in return for a 10 second advertisement played before the start of the video.Viewer who watch ads get streamed the sponsor's token on a per second basis for the length of the video. They then get streamed interest-bearing tokens for watching the main video.

Solution

This project uses PolygonID for ZK Verification of users, WorldCoin for Proof of Personhood (to prevent bots), Aluo to stream interest-bearing tokens to viewers, The Graph to query video metadata and query Lens Profiles, Livepeer for video storage and display, and Web3 Storage for thumbnail uploads.
