Problem Statement

Sunlight Exchange lets you buy and sell NFTs without a centralized database in the middle. Our architecture stores users’ bids directly on chain without incurring high gas fees or risky cross-chain transactions.We are an on-chain order book built on a multichain architecture that allows open, permissionless, decentralized trading of NFTs.our mission is: A decentralized NFT marketplace that provides increased robustness, higher transparency, equal access, and better liquidity in the NFT markets.

Solution

We built a smart contract on Polygon to hold the decentralized orderbook. Our frontend app, build in Next.js/React/Tailwinds/Wagmi, pushes and pulls offers from to/from this order book on Polygon, and pushes fills to Ethereum when a user confirms they want to buy/sell an NFT from the order book.
