Problem Statement

The project we're trying to set up is a DeFi (Decentralized Finance) protocol for peer-to-peer (P2P) swaps with a matching mechanism based on graph theory. The main aim of this protocol is to optimize transaction costs by up to 35% and minimize or eliminate slippage when trading crypto-currencies.

Solution

The project's front-end was developed using HTML, CSS and JavaScript to create a user-friendly interface, while the back-end was built in Python to handle the business logic, communication with the Ethereum blockchain and the smart contract written in Solidity. An API was implemented to facilitate communication between the front-end and back-end, and Web3.js was used to enable users to connect to their Ethereum wallet and interact with the smart contract. WalletConnect was also integrated to ensure secure transactions from users' wallets.
