The Wolf of Web3
AI‑guided, cross‑chain investing powered by Circle Smart Wallets and personalized strategies.
Problem Statement
Wolf of Web3 is an AI‑powered investing companion that transforms everyday users into confident digital investors, without requiring them to understand wallets, chains, yield protocols or complex DeFi mechanics. Users begin with a simple social login and instantly receive a self‑custodial Circle Smart Wallet that gives them full ownership of their funds. There are no seed phrases, no private key management, no approvals or confusing setup. The entire experience feels as intuitive as a Web2 app, but powered by secure Web3 infrastructure.Wolf asks users about their interests, investment horizon and risk appetite. Instead of forcing users to pick protocols, tokens or networks, Wolf interprets their preferences and presents curated strategies that reflect their investor identity. These strategies are then deployed using native USDC across multiple chains, using Circle CCTP and Bridge Kit for secure and seamless interoperability. Users never see bridges, wrapped assets, or network switching prompts. They simply invest and track results.During the hackathon, we implemented three live ERC‑4626 vault strategies, each deployed on a different chain to demonstrate true interoperability. The Low‑Risk Strategy runs on Arc using USDC as a stability vault, providing capital preservation and yield. The Medium‑Risk Strategy runs on Celo and uses a staking model with simulated reward distribution. The High‑Risk Strategy runs on World Chain and represents a Meme Index vault, using narrative‑driven momentum exposure. All vaults are powered by self‑custodial programmable wallets, strategy shares and transparent performance tracking.Wolf of Web3 lives where users already are. It is designed as a Farcaster MiniApp on Celo and also works natively inside the World App on World Chain, making it available to more than 35 million verified users globally. This gives Wolf a uniquely powerful distribution model. Instead of users finding Web3 tools, Web3 tools find the users. At its core, Wolf of Web3 abstracts complexity and restores human simplicity to on‑chain investing. It replaces manual navigation with personalized guidance and replaces fragmented experiences with seamless automation. Above all, it turns investment from something intimidating into something approachable, personal, intelligent and safe.Wolf of Web3 is not just another tool. It is a guide. And in Web3, guidance is what unlocks mass adoption.
Solution
We built Wolf of Web3 using Circle Programmable Wallets with social login, allowing users to instantly receive a secure, self‑custodial wallet without handling private keys, seed phrases, or RPC configuration. On top of this wallet infrastructure, we integrated Circle’s CCTP and Bridge Kit to enable native USDC transfers across Arc, Celo, and World Chain. To manage strategy balances, we used Circle Gateway Contracts, which let us read balances and deposits across chains without building separate indexers or RPC listeners. Each investment strategy is implemented as an ERC‑4626 vault. We deployed three vault types, one per chain: an Arc USDC parking vault using WolfBaseIndexVault for low‑risk yield, a simulated staking vault on Celo using WolfBaseStakingVault for medium‑risk returns, and a Meme Index vault on World Chain using WolfBaseIndexVault for narrative‑based high‑risk exposure. Each vault mints strategy shares (wLOW‑ARC, wSTAKE‑CELO, wMEME‑WORLD) to track deposits, withdrawals, and performance in a standardized way.The frontend is built as a Farcaster MiniApp on Celo’s MiniPay and runs natively inside World App, allowing the same UX to reach more than 35M on‑chain users without requiring any wallet installations or network switching. We used WalletConnect for authorization, and Privy for session persistence during testing. The hackiest part: we built a vault simulator that mimics real on‑chain yield curves and reward accumulation without requiring a full yield aggregator backend. We also abstracted away chain selection entirely, letting users choose a “risk level,” while the system handles RPC calls, vault targeting, liquidity routing, and CCTP bridging behind the scenes. The result is a fully functional, chain‑aware architecture that hides all Web3 friction such as bridging, wrapped tokens, approvals, gas decisions, and network switching. Users just choose a strategy, and Wolf executes.
