Problem Statement

Vola is a decentralized volatility swap platform designed to facilitate liquidity provisions against traders who wish to trade volatility. This innovative platform aims to offer a secure and transparent environment for managing and executing volatility trades, leveraging blockchain technology for enhanced trust and efficiency.

Solution

We would like to make use of the ERC4626 standard to create a vault for liquidity providers. We will use onchain oracles for computing the volatility values and use it as a basis to settle trades against it. We will have 3 main smart contracts : A Vault, volatility estimator and settlement. We will make use of the HGO coin as a stablecoin for the collateral and the liquidity provision.
