Problem Statement

xDomain, developed for the ETHGlobal Paris 2023 hackathon, is a real-time and historical visualization tool for cross-chain arbitrage opportunities. It is built using the historical data collected by odos.xyz/arbitrage focuses on Uniswap V2 and its clones on Ethereum and various Layer 2 solutions.xDomain allows users to understand high-level statistics about historical cross-domain arbitrage quickly. Statistics provided include:Total arbitrage detected over a specified time windowMost common tokens that are involved in arbitrage opportunitiesThe length of time that opportunities usually persistThe xDomain tool is a valuable resource for researchers seeking to quantify the market impact of cross-domain market inefficiencies. Additionally, it is the first time such data is publicly available, to the best of our knowledge.

Solution

Data is collected and provided by odos.xyz/arbitrage. (This data was collected over a span of many months, previous to the start of ETHGlobal Paris.) We then process the data to provide summary statistics. An API is provided for plotting or analytics use cases. The application has an intuitive front-end built with Node.js.
