YayNay

The first trustless creator coin treasury (disguised as a dating app)

Problem Statement

Yaynay is a trustless creator coin treasury disguised as a fun, seamless mini app that feels like Grindr. An AI agent, Agent Nay, scours Zora for compelling creator profiles and also analyzes submissions from users. Every 12 minutes, Agent Nay submits a new creator coin profile for vote. Voters execute their votes by swiping right (yay) or left (nay). If the majority of users vote yay, Agent Nay executes the proposal, and the creator coin is purchased with ETH from the treasury.Every 5 minutes, a new vote is auctioned to the highest bidder, forever. 100% of the auction proceeds go into the treasury to fund creator coin purchases.Agent Nay, with optional support from the broader community, ensures the queue of creators is always full.Members who purchased votes and funded the treasury can help crowd-source decisions in a fun, smooth, invisible way (thanks to an embedded cloud MCP wallet and sponsored transactions on Base). All contracts that power the creator coin treasury are open-source, onchain, and nounish ⌐◨-◨ (deployed via nouns.build). The user doesn't need to know that though. Thanks to the latest advancements in web3, we're finally able to create a truly seamless experience without sacrificing decentralization.

Solution

Our project is designed to feel incredibly simple to the end user, like a dating app, but behind the scenes powerful technologies interoperate to make the magic happen. All contracts, including NFTs (with onchain art), Auctions, Treasury, and Governance are deployed from nouns.build, a factory for nounish DAOsSubgraphs index the data so both the agent and frontend can query data performantlyCloud MCP wallets, sponsored transactions, and onchain delegation make onchain voting as easy a swipe of a fingerA CDP Agent analyzes submissions from users and scours Zora (via their SDK) to find compelling creators, and autonomously executes tractions every 12 minutes to create new proposals and execute swaps directly with creator coin liquidity pools. The entire experience is packaged as a mini app for Base, Farcaster, and other clients (like nounspace.com and the upcoming blank.space, which is what our team is normally focused on)Contracts and transactions are on Base, meaning they're cheap, secure, and fast enough to keep up with the rapid user input of swiping through a stack of cardsTo tie all these technologies together and design a defensible and sustainable creator coin treasury, an immense amount of brain power was invested in designing, architecting, and developing the open source code to make bring this to life. We're very proud and excited of what we've been able to accomplish this weekend, and hope the project lives on and serves as a template for how to design seamless experiences that feel better than web 2 and abstract the complexity of governance, leverage AI to handle manual efforts that previously depended on layer 0 (humans), and maintain complete trustlessness and sufficient decentralization (the agent and frontend are the only portions not yet completely decentralized, but are also not required for ongoing operation of the DAO, and other frontends like nouns.build already exist as sufficiently decentralized backups)
