Tap. Match. Meet. Building a culture of instant, secure networking.

Problem Statement

NFC + ZK + cloud + clever hacks = effortless, secure, privacy-first event networking. We’re redefining how people connect at events by making NFC-powered interactions effortless and natural. Forget awkward introductions or extra effort, our platform instantly surfaces people worth meeting the moment you arrive. With Zero-Knowledge at the core, every interaction stays fully private until both parties choose to engage. No unwanted visibility, no forced sharing, just secure, authentic connections on your terms. By seamlessly blending digital discovery with real-world encounters, we’re making meaningful connections feel as simple and natural as saying hello.

Solution

How It’s Better IntegratedEnd-to-end flow from tap to proof: A single NFC interaction triggers the whole pipeline — device discovery, encrypted packet exchange, proof generation, and smart contract verification. No extra QR scans or logins; the hardware + backend + contracts feel like one system.Modular architecture: We kept NFC logic, ZK circuits, and Solidity contracts decoupled but interoperable. That let us hack fast (swap circuits, redeploy contracts) without breaking the frontend flow.On-chain + off-chain balance: Heavy lifting (proof generation) happens off-chain, while the smart contract only verifies minimal commitments. This gave us both speed and gas efficiency.Developer composability: Because each part speaks in clean APIs (backend services, circuit inputs/outputs, verifier contracts), anyone can plug Tapper into new contexts — events, ticketing, or gamified check-ins — without rewriting the stack. How It Builds a CultureTapping as a ritual: Instead of typing or scanning, people just tap. That’s a shared, physical action that feels natural and builds collective behavior.Proof of presence, not just attendance: Every tap produces a cryptographic proof, turning participation into something you can carry with you across events or apps. Over time, that creates bragging rights and recognition.Privacy-first trust: Zero-knowledge proofs mean people contribute to the community without oversharing. That cultural value of trust without exposure makes adoption easier.Social stickiness: Because taps can be chained into badges, leaderboards, or reputation systems, Tapper encourages playful competition and belonging. The culture grows around earning and sharing verifiable interactions.
