Problem Statement

This project was inspired by a Chamath quote: "We're in the arena, trying stuff."The Arena is a game for NFT enthusiasts. The game works by locking your NFT into a pool where, everyday, one is randomly selected to be slashed/auctioned. The participants in the pool share the proceeds of the auction, proportional to their NFTs at stake. Users can redeem their deposited NFTs in the grace period before the next round of selection begins.

Solution

we used create-react-dapp for the frontend, used Chainlink VRF for verifiable randomness, and a simple ERC721 token and interface. We chose these for their elegance, utility, and ease of integrationwe chose the top NFTs for each respective testnet for the hackathon deployment, but The Arena accepts all NFTs as entrants.The frontend source code can be seen here: https://github.com/gas-limit/arena_frontend
