Problem Statement

SuperFan is a global fan-engagement dApp that turns real-world fandom into verifiable on-chain rewards. Fans verify identity with Self, connect their wallet, choose their team, and unlock a personalized dashboard where they earn FanTokens™ for real actions: attending games, watching matches, linking merch purchases, and posting on social media.The app uses FanDuels (quests, missions, and tournaments) to let fans compete for token rewards, exclusive NFTs, and even game tickets. Every action is authenticated through Self verification and indexed using The Graph, ensuring all engagement is bot-free, human-verified, and transparently recorded.SuperFan creates a new layer of sports loyalty by combining Web3 rewards, DeFi-style staking, and team-branded experiences—all inside a simple, fast PWA optimized for football culture in Argentina and beyond.

Solution

SuperFan is built as a PWA using Next.js, deployed on Vercel, with a serverless backend on Firebase for fan profiles, quest data, and engagement events. Self powers identity verification and repeat check-ins, enabling a fully trusted, bot-resistant fan identity layer.We used Chiliz to mint FanTokens™, issue on-chain rewards, and log fan activity via smart contracts. The Graph indexes all Fan Duel actions, quests, missions, and staking events so the dashboard can render rankings, leaderboards, and activity logs in real time.Wallet interactions use WalletConnect, and the Fan Duel game engine is a lightweight on-chain/off-chain hybrid that handles staked duels, leaderboard math, and token distribution. The UI is generated using a combination of Vercel v0 components and custom Tailwind design systems, making the whole experience fast, light, and mobile-first.Everything was built in under 48 hours with a modular architecture that can scale to multiple clubs, leagues, and fan communities globally.
